This cane has been proven to consistently achieve the highest yield of ideal hardness cane of any grower that we have worked with. Most pieces are of a useable or ideal hardness, with great curvature, density, and straightness. Highly recommended.
 
In our experience, cane of 10.5-11mm diameter results in many individual pieces reading above 11mm, which is unusable in conventional gouging machines. By using 10-10.5mm cane, we keep most pieces below 11mm which leads to a higher yield of usable cane.
