Profiled Oboe Family Reeds (various)
A profiled reed (80% finished) on Premium Cane. Needs refinement by an experienced reed maker, particularly in the tip and windows. Available for oboe, oboe d'amore, and English horn. Perfect for intermediate reed makers!
For English horn and Oboe d'amore reeds, please state in writing if you would rather not have wire and tubing on your reeds. They are OFF by default.
All reeds are on our standard setups:
- Oboe: Medium hardness (recommended) cane, gouge ~.60mm, shape Mack+, TRW Standard 46.5mm brass staple
- Oboe d'amore: Medium hardness (recommended) cane, gouge ~.65mm, shape Chiarugi -1, Chiarugi #2 25mm brass oboe d'amore staple
- English horn: Medium hardness (recommended) cane, gouge ~.70mm, shape -1N EH, Chiarugi #2 27mm brass EH staple
